I just finished this book, Jesus & Company, that I have been meaning to read for over a year. It was written by the founder of Friend Ships, a charitable Christian organization that delivers food to the poor in America and around the globe, mostly by the ship-load. It is such a tale of adventurous faith. Miracle after miracle, mission after mission... we are totally going on one of their adventures one day. It is just such a wonderful tale showing how God provides against all odds, through us, when we follow in faith.
Carol and Dan, John and I especially think of you when we think of Friend Ship adventures. I am mailing you a copy of the original article that I found about these folks. Would you like to join us on high seas adventures one day?
